Introducing a NEW PANS Member Benefit – Professional Development 

We now offer 10 online training courses free of charge to PANS Members. PAs can complete up to four courses – you can register for any two at one time, once completed you can then register for two more.

We require an online enrolment form to be completed for each course.

Following completion of the course, you will receive a certificate for your records!🎉

 


Courses available:

  • Food Safety
    This course provides comprehensive knowledge essential for safe food handling in care settings
  • Health & Safety
    This course provides comprehensive knowledge essential for ensuring safety in care settings
  • Infection Control
    Essential for preventing and managing infections in care settings.
  • Principles of Care and Confidentiality
    This course explains what the principles of care are and how to put them into practice during a working day
  • Safe Administration of Medicines
    This course ensures practitioners understand and can implement the correct practices when administering medication.
  • First Aid Awareness
    This course teaches basic first aid procedures, including CPR, what to do when someone is choking, and treating minor wounds
  • Safeguarding of Children
    Understand safeguarding of children, to recognise abuse, how to respond to abuse, how to report abuse
  • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
    Exploring the different types of safeguarding issues that may occur in a care setting, and your responsibilities in ensuring that your clients live in a safe environment
  • Dementia Care
    This course will help you understand what dementia is, including practical ways to adapt your practice to best support those in your care.
  • Autism and Learning Disabilities
    Covers Learning Disabilities and Autism, including the different types, signs and symptoms, available therapies and ways in which you can best support your clients.
