Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Personal Assistant Network Scotland (PANS) membership website which is operated by Workers Education Association (WEA). By accessing and using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Membership
- By registering for membership on the PANS Website, you represent that you are a working Personal Assistant.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information as part of your registration and to update your personal information to keep it accurate, current and complete.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify PANS immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
- Services
- PANS will provide support and advice to working Personal Assistants and individuals interested in becoming Personal Assistants.
- PANS membership will enable access to discount cards and other membership benefits.
- PANS will provide Personal Assistants with an ID Badge.
- Membership Fees and Renewal
- There is no membership fee.
- Unless you cancel your membership, your membership will automatically renew and you authorise us to verify your eligibility status upon renewal.
- Intellectual Property
- All content, materials, and features available on the PANS website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images are protected by copyright and other intellectual laws.
- Privacy Policy
- Your use of the PANS website is subject to our Privacy Notice, which governs the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. By using the PANS website, you consent to the terms of the Privacy Notice.
- Termination
- You reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time.
- PANS reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time if you are no longer a working Personal Assistant or have provided false information during your application.
- Changes to Terms
- PANS may revise these Terms if there is a significant change in the membership criteria or services we provide. The most current version of the Terms and Conditions will supersede previous versions.
- Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
