Personal Assistant Required – Scone

Salary/Hourly Rate: £16.88 + pension contribution + 5.6 weeks holidays
Sleepover £107.60

Contract: Permanent 20 – 30 hours, 2 weeks on, two weeks offWe’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our small support team for a sociable 39 year old woman in Scone.

She has physical disabilities and uses an electric wheelchair but what really stands out is her brilliant sense of humour, love of her 2 cats and her drive for disability rights & independence using zoom meeting She also enjoys healthy eating with home grown veg

What you’ll do –
You’ll help her make the most of life – whether that’s going to meetings or cat shows or assisting with her household chores and gardening, there is quite a variety.
You’ll also provide support with;
Administering medication
Doing some physio exercises
Personal Care
Preparing meals and assisting with daily living activities.

Previous experience of epilepsy is needed and we’ll give you all the training and ongoing support you need.

We’re looking for someone who is –

Flexible and dependable
Comfortable with moving and assisting using equipment
Keen to learn and be part of a small supportive team
 
Hours available 
Two weeks on two weeks off
Two overnights per week 9pm – 10:30am flexible night, can be agreed at interview
29 hours day shifts 3hr 5hr & 7hr shifts
Additional ad hoc cover shifts available
