Personal Assistant Required – Renfrewshire

We’re looking for one or two caring, reliable people to support a friendly and sociable family member in their 50s who has learning difficulties and some mobility issues.

This is a self-employed role with flexible, person-centred work — perfect for someone who enjoys making a real difference in someone’s life.

What the role involves:
✅ Providing companionship, support and occasional personal care
✅ Helping with hobbies like going to the gym, walking, and days out
✅ Driving a day van/camper for outings (sometimes overnight)
✅ Encouraging independence and creating a safe, supportive environment

What we’re looking for:
Experience in a similar care or support role
PVG checked (or willing to obtain)
A full UK driving licence and happy to drive a larger vehicle
Friendly, dependable and understanding
Able to provide references
Must be self-employed and responsible for your own tax/insurance
Approx. 20 hrs/week (mainly weekends)
