Personal Assistant Required – Kilbarchan (Female preferred)

Personal assistant required who will assist in my day to day tasks and provide support to enable me to live a full and independent life.

I require support with eating, drinking and general personal care.
My social life consists of wheelchair dancing, visiting friends, organising events, volunteering with projects, art and visiting museums or galleries.
I like being active, going walks and would like to get back to swimming. I also enjoy outdoor activity holidays.
I do a lot of work on my PC and write blogs.

 

Role Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Patience and understanding
• Clean UK Driving Licence and ability to drive a wheelchair adapted vehicle
• Good IT and Literacy skills
• Membership of the PVG Scheme
• Previous experience in supporting a disabled adult preferred but not essential
• Previous experience or willingness to learn how to carry out tube feeding and administer medication

Hours:
To cover:
Mon to Fri / 10am – 4pm
There is a degree of flexibility depending on requirements
