Personal Assistant Required – Giffnock (female only)

We’re looking for a caring, friendly, and reliable female Personal Assistant (PA) for a very friendly woman who enjoys the company of others. She has multiple sclerosis and uses a manual wheelchair but otherwise is physically in good health and likes to be active, spend time in her lovely garden, and get outdoors generally.

 

Hours available

• One weekend day (4- 8 hrs) per week
• Well-paid sleeping overnights and holiday/illness cover also available

 

Your roles

Social – Support for getting out and about, accompanying to activities (e.g. MS Revive), providing companionship

Household – Assistance with household tasks e.g. meal preparation, cleaning, shopping

Personal care – Assistance with feeding and drinking, bathroom assistance.

 

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient and friendly
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Comfortable around two lovely pet cats

 

Requirements

• Previous care experience preferred.
• Full clean UK driving licence and a willingness to drive as part of the role.
• PVG membership (or willingness to join).
