Personal Assistant Required – Bearsden

A Personal Assistant is required to support a witty, sharp and sociable 27-year-old man with physical disabilities who lives in Bearsden.

 

A bit about him

He’s great fun to be around, loves a bit of banter and has a very sharp sense of humour — so you’ll definitely need a thick skin! Football is a big interest (especially Clydebank F.C.), and he enjoys getting out to clubs, football matches, comedy shows and social events.

 

The role

You’ll support him to enjoy social and leisure activities as well as assist with day-to-day living at home.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting social and leisure activities
• Personal care
• PEG feeding
• Administering medication
• Moving and assisting

 

Who we’re looking for

The most important thing we’re looking for is the right person — someone kind, reliable and able to enjoy a bit of banter. Skills can be taught, and full training and support will be provided.

We’re looking for someone who would enjoy becoming part of a small, supportive team.

 

Hours

Flexible hours available including daytime, evenings and occasional overnight shifts.

Shifts are arranged on an ad hoc basis, making this role ideal for students or someone looking for flexible work alongside other commitments, while also offering potential for longer-term stability.
