Could you make a real difference to someone’s everyday life?
Hi, I’m an 18-year-old starting university in Glasgow, and I’m looking for kind, reliable female Personal Assistants to join my small support team.
I enjoy music, fashion, nail art, spending time at home, and getting out and about when I choose. I like a calm, relaxed environment and a good chat.
I have a physical disability and need support throughout the day and night to help me live as independently as possible. This includes getting up in the morning, personal care, meal preparation, daily routines, and getting ready for bed at night.
I make my own decisions and direct my own support, so I’m looking for people who will work alongside me, respect my choices, and help me live the life I choose.
You’ll become part of a small, supportive team that makes a genuine difference every day.

Location and working pattern
Support is provided wherever I am, including at home, at university, and in other everyday settings.
During university term time, this will often be in Glasgow, and at other times in Linlithgow.
Support may include a combination of day support, evening support, overnight sleepovers, and live-in support depending on what I’m doing and where I am. This allows flexibility around my daily life, including university, home life, travel, and holidays.
We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available and are happy to discuss working patterns and availability with the right applicants.

About you
I’m looking for people who are kind, reliable, and genuinely interested in supporting someone to live a full and independent life.
The right person will be friendly and chatty, comfortable building a one to one positive working relationship, and happy to be part of a small team. You’ll be calm, patient and respectful, while also being able to use your initiative and adapt when plans change.
Most importantly, this role is about supporting me with everyday life, including personal care and daily routines, as well as helping me navigate university life, social activities, travel, and everything that comes with living independently.
Experience in care or support work is helpful but not essential. This role may suit people with experience of university life, education, or supporting young adults, but what matters most is kindness, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
A full UK driving licence is essential. Confidence driving a larger or adapted vehicle, or a willingness to learn, is required.

Duties
Your role is to support me to live as independently as possible. Duties may include:
