About Me

Hi, I am an 11 year old boy and full of energy. I’m nonverbal but I can tell you what I want and when I’m happy. I need support with personal care and keeping safe.

I love swimming.

And one of my favourite things to do is visiting the park and playing on the swings.

Hours

Ideally:

•  6 hours per week (negotiable – afterschool/holidays/weekends)

About the Role

We are looking for a kind, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistant to support a bright and fun 11‑year‑old with personal care, and getting out and about in the community.

This is a rewarding role that would suit someone patient, responsible and confident around young people. A good sense of humour and a positive attitude are just as important as experience.

What the Role Involves

• Providing personal care in a respectful and dignified way
• Supporting daily routines and everyday tasks
• Accompanying to activities and social outings
• Encouraging independence and building confidence
• Ensuring he is safe, happy and supported at all times

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Kind, patient and trustworthy
• Fun, with a good sense of humour
• Physically fit
• Experienced in working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
• Comfortable assisting with personal care
• Reliable and punctual
• A good communicator

Requirements

• Current PVG
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• Satisfactory references
