Working Well Together: A PA Skills Programme

A 6-session online learning programme for Personal Assistants who want practical skills, a clear training plan, and an easy way to access ongoing learning.

This course supports PAs to build confidence in core skills used every day, from communication and meaningful daily experiences to safe moving and assisting and the basics of skincare. You’ll also learn how to use online learning professional development tools such as TURAS learn, how to log and record your learning efficiently and how to plan your training for the year ahead using the New National Induction Framework as a guide.

 

Across 6 sessions, you’ll take part in short, practical micro-sessions, identify your own learning needs, and develop a personalised annual training plan that you can take forward.

• Certificates of Participation from WEA and/or TURAS certificates from NHS Education Scotland.

• A live TURAS Learn account for future training
• Improved understanding and confidence across all course topics

Delivery: 6 x 2hr online (zoom) sessions

Start Date: Every Wednesday at 10am from the 13th May till the 17th June.
