Personal Assistant Required – Giffnock (Female Only)

About the role

We’re looking for a caring, friendly, and reliable female Personal Assistant (PA) for a very friendly woman who enjoys the company of others. She has multiple sclerosis and uses a manual wheelchair but otherwise is physically in good health and likes to be active, spend time in her lovely garden, and get outdoors generally.

 

Hours available

• 12-16 hrs per week
• Typically one weekday (~ 8hrs) and weekend half-days (2 x 4hrs)
• Role could be split if available only for weekdays or weekends
• Well-paid overnights available and cover for illness/holiday

 

Your roles

• Social – Support for getting out and about, accompanying to activities (e.g. MS Revive), providing companionship
• Household – Assistance with household tasks e.g. meal preparation, cleaning, shopping
• Personal care – Assistance with feeding and drinking, bathroom assistance.

• Caring, patient and friendly
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy

 

Requirements

• Previous care experience is desirable, but training can be given.
• Full clean UK driving licence and a willingness to drive as part of the role.
• Pet friendly
• PVG membership
