We are looking for a personal assistant to be a companion for a 73-year-old male.
This gentleman has suffered a stroke on the right side of his body, and this has also impacted his speech. We are looking for someone to keep this gentleman company as well as active as he enjoys writing; drawing; dominos and drives etc.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Minimal personal care as may need to assist if issues when out or short staffed.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provision of minimal personal care
- Accompaniment to activities, outings etc.
- Social activity assistance
- Provision of companionship
- Assisting with light domestic duties
