Care Worker / Personal Assistant required to support a young woman in her home in Dunblane.

2 posts available to cover 26 hours total, Evening & daytime hours available

For the preservation of dignity, only female applicants will be considered (*This job has a genuine occupational requirement as per schedule 9 part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, therefore only applications from females are requested)

£10.50 Gross per hour.

Extra hours may be available to cover for holidays and other events. These hours would be worked over 6 out of seven days.

A reliable and trustworthy person able to take direct instruction is required to assist with all aspects of:

Personal Care

  • Assistance getting in and out of bed
  • Assistance with showering
  • Assistance with dressing and undressing
  • Assistance with brushing hair and teeth
  • Assistance with toileting
  • Prompting me to take my medication
  • Use of moving and handling equipment

Social Tasks

  • Support to attend organised social events
  • Support when I am shopping for pleasure
  • Support to go out for meals or coffee
  • Support to meet friends socially
  • Support to attend appointments


Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of carer / personal assistant.

As driving of the person’s mobility vehicle is involved, a full clean UK driving licence is essential.

Certification in moving and assisting would be desirable, but training can be provided.
