Medication Awareness

Medication Awareness session running for Personal Assitants. Session will take place in Kilmarnock on 4th April from 10am to 1pm

By the end of the session, learners will be able to:

  • describe accountability and responsibility dealing with  medication
  • explain how the principles of care are linked with medication
  • discuss the differences between choice, consent and capacity
  • list the categories of different medications
  • detail examples of Health & Safety consideratons when dealing with medication
